This library is very nice! I love the kid section they have in the back. It is colorful, comfortable, and perfect for the little ones. There’s a room they can play in, it has toys for them too. I also like that all books auto renew unless it’s on hold for someone else. I also like that they have so many events for the kids. We will definitely be back! Thank you for this wonderful library!! 📚

The John and Jude Gay Library in McKinney (zip code) is a recently renovated, excellent facility. It offers a diverse collection and provides additional digital library memberships, including Udemy, Clodlibrary and LinkedIn Learning, accessible with a library card, offering a wealth of free digital content. The library features a well-designed kids play area suitable for toddlers, and the staff is notably friendly and helpful.

Love this McKinney local library. Great selection of books, plenty of reading spots, welcoming interior & exterior design, and located right next to Cottonwood Creek Trail, so perfect place to park car and enjoy both library AND outdoor time on the trails! (Paved, great for walking or biking or strollers).

The girls at the front were so nice. There are lots of places to relax and get work done. There are a few fun little robot helpers too! They have an enclosed children's play area. You can check out up to 200 items! Check them out for 3 weeks.

Awesome Awesome Library after its get revamped. Take a look at pictures. Amazing and large collection of books, computers, play rooms, study rooms, quiet places, kids books. Overall it is a fun learning and welcoming place.... You must visit this library.... Ever since we moved to McKinney we are going to library continuously. Very nice library well maintained. Easy to checkout and return. Kids enjoy the library.

My wife dropped me off to work remotely while her and her mom visited friends in McKinney. I was really impressed by the kindness of the staff and the layout of the building. Reserving a study room for virtual meetings was a piece of cake, and the environment was conducive to being productive. Highly recommend the John and Judy Gay Library!

I love this place, its very comfy and people are very friendly. You can get your work done here, the book collection is great, you can use the app to put the books on hold. Check out process is always pretty simple.. Overall great place to focus and get work done.

This library is a bit small but a great one. Have good collection of books and audio library. Has a room for study sessions and enough spaces to spend time reading. The staff is very nice...
